LETHE Institute Game

In my first year at Parsons, I joined up with Jess Haskins, Astra Wijaya, and Andy Wallace to work on their thesis project, a game called LETHE. The LETHE Institute is a fictional rehabilitation facility for victims of trauma, using tetromino and other spacial games as therapy to prevent patients from remembering traumatic events. The game’s concept resonated with my dual obsessions with video games and psychology, and I enjoyed working with talented game designers and artists.

For this project, I was part of the game development process, and also did a lot of the UI and art design for the cut-scenes and mini-games such as the steampunk Tetris-like block game and the phosphene-inspired nightmare sequences.
